Michigan Preseason High School Football Rankings

The high school sports statistics and rankings site Maxpreps released their latest preseason rankings of high school football programs throughout the state. Preseason rankings are based on internal polling, recent history, number of ranked recruits, and prior postseason performance. THe rankings include all high schools across all divisions/classes.

The top 10 teams ranked are listed below:

10. River Rouge

9. Traverse City Central

8. Adams (Rochester)

7. Unity Christian (Hudsonville)

6. Dakota (Macomb)

5. West Bloomfield

4. Catholic Central (Grand Rapids)

3. Belleville

2. De La Salle Collegiate (Warren)

1. King (Detroit)

The official high school football season will kick off on August 26th, the first Friday of the public school year.
